Wow! Pavlok just reached a very interesting milestone, just 4 days after having launched the crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.
To me personally this doesn’t come exactly as a surprise, at least not when talking about the amount. As I have written in my last post about the Pavlok crowdfunding campaign, I was confident that they would reach the US$ 100k easily over the course of the 30 days they scheduled for the campaign. As you can read there, my estimation is US$ 150-200k. It’s very likely that even this amount will be surpassed, although we can probably assume that the growth will slow down. But on the other side this will depend very much on what smart marketing stunts Maneesh Sethi, founder of Pavlok, and his smart team will be able to pull off.
It will be interesting to see how this keeps in developing. After all: there are still 27 days left at the time of this writing (Oct. 4, 2014). Their ‘secret’ goal, I believe I have read somewhere, is to reach US$ 1 million! If this comes true, this would ensure their place among the most successful Indiegogo campaigns, although still lass than the half of the most successful ones which rank at more than US$ 2,5 million.
Let’s wait and see 🙂 In the meantime: Here’s s short ‘Thank you’ video that Maneesh shot after Pavlok reached US$ 100,000 in just 4 days, including being shocked through his own Pavlok wearable by Chris, his Chief of Marketing:
